Book Promotion

OK guys, so there's 14 days left until the release of 'Tree of Seasons' but before you all get caught up in the excitement of it all we would like you to do us a big favour to help with the important promotional process in the run up to the big day. It has been decided that a good way to do this is have everyone change their facebook and twitter profile pics to the book cover that we have displayed here... all you have to do is click on the pic and press 'save as', you may then use the picture for any social networking sites that you are a part of.

The idea is to create curiosity among people who are unaware of the book and Stephen's work. We need to pull in a wider audience that not only consists of Boyzone and Steo fans. Due to the mistake that was made this month with early distribution, we don't know if it has affected the promotion or sales figures so as much help as possible will be needed and also much appreciated.

As dedicated Steo fans I'm sure you all know what you have to do to support him and his work.

'Tree of Seasons'

Its been a long time coming but now the countdown has begun. 'Tree of seasons', the book Steo had been working hard on for the past couple of years is scheduled to be released on 13th May 2010. The book which only had a few pages to go, was due to be finished by Stephen while on holiday with his husband Andrew in Majorca, but due to tragic circumstances this didn't happen.

Fortunately Steo being the clever and talented person he was left detailed notes on how the story would end so it made completion easier and as close to the storyline as he wanted. As dedicated fans, we want the book to be a best seller, and as it approaches the release date we would like you to help promote it. The timing is essential so we will give you the go ahead when the time is right. Do it too soon and people will get bored and that is something we want to avoid.

Its surprising what we can achieve when we all pull together!

Walk for CRY in Memory of Steo

There was so much negative press surrounding the death of Stephen that by the time they finished speculating what happened on that fateful night, they failed to address the bigger issue which was the heart condition that Stephen was suffering from. Many people die of undiagnosed heart conditions each year and maybe if Stephen had undergone more intensive screening, he could still be alive today. Instead of thinking about the what ifs, more has to be done to raise awareness of such conditions that could help save other people's lives... and that's where you guys come in.

CRY - Cardiac Risk in the Young is a charity dedicated to raising awareness and providing free screening to people under 35 through their special units around the UK. On the 18th July 2010 they will be holding a charity walk in London that us Steo fans can take part in. We will be walking in memory of Stephen as Part of Team Steo's Superfanz and raising money to help the charity to continue their fantastic work. If you are a member of our Steo's Superfanz facebook group, you would have already received an invite to the event which displays more details about the charity and Bridges walk. We will also be promoting it on twitter.

Lets make Stephen proud as he always did with us!
